Mindful Life Services evolved from holistic mental wellness practices designed to create intention in everyday life. Our mission is to inspire curiosity, compassion and grace through gentle and mindfully- inspired Meditative, Restorative and Yin Yoga.

We believe in the healing benefits of yoga to help you transform your mind, body, and soul, and we are committed to upholding the wisdom of yoga in a way that is reflective of our beliefs.

Edna Abney

I define myself as a mindfully inspired yogi with a passion for spreading the benefits of yoga in diverse communities. I utilize yoga both personally and professionally to aide and promote holistic mind, body, spirit connection and self-healing.


My style of yoga is aimed at reducing stressors, anxiety and symptoms of trauma. We all experience transition, often chaotic and confusing. My intent is to hold space that is both non-judgmental and compassionate while creating an experience that provokes centering, grounding, and mindfulness.


In a space typically depicted as “for the flexible,” I have purposefully removed the barriers to craft an inclusive haven regardless of age, size, or physical ability.

Meeks Lynn

A former New York City public school teacher of 17 years, taught in Title 1 schools where she used social-emotional learning to educate the whole child A huge proponent of health and wellness, Meekslynn began to seek outlets to relieve stress from her rewarding yet demanding job. She began seeking yoga in the mid-2000s as a reprieve.

For almost a decade she would benefit from the healing properties of yoga. In 2017, she was introduced by two friends to Breathe for Change; a certified yoga program for educators. She would complete her CYT 200 in 2018. Since then she has been offering classes in the park and online.


 Meekslynn demystifies the misconceptions that yoga can be intimidating. She uses an unorthodox approach to teaching gentle vinyasa and restorative flow. Her classes are easy to understand and follow curated with intentional pacing for all levels. Her students leave their mat feeling positive and optimistic.
