With a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Shannett is committed to helping change minds and heal hearts by educating, encouraging, empowering, and embracing those affected by mental, emotional, physical, financial, and social issues. Shannett works from an integrated theoretical foundation, to include Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, and Person-Centered therapies. She is a board-certified and nationally recognized mental health counselor with specialized certification in Clinical Counseling. Understanding that change is a process, Shannett collaboratively works with clients on a range of personal and professional goals and issues towards “whole-person wellness”; meeting them where they are and helping them to get where they want to go.
